Frontal
The 28-year-old Jayakumar has been working out since the age of 16. Originally his interest in bodybuilding was due to fitness requirements in the sport of sprinting. But that later changed, His time in the gym kindled his interest in true bodybuilding.
He works for the Southern railways of India and with it provides for his family. But his true goal in life is to constantly work towards improving himself, his body and his achievements by attending as many competitions as is possible.
In his ten years of training he has gone from being just another Southern railways employee to holding the title of Mr. India for bodybuilding.
In this shoot, we wanted to capture the essence of what makes a body builder a body builder. It is usually perceived that a body builder is one with a rough and arrogant attitude but in my opinion most body builders I have come across have turned out to be soft and kind people. As body builders they don’t tend to work on building stamina and hence they usually get tired very quickly. They eat very little carbohydrates and only have what’s required for muscle building. So this shoot shows a hardworking body builder right after his workout who has worked on only what’s important to him – his muscles!
